Air Valve Spring

  1. Using an Allen wrench, loosen lock screw. Turn tension adjusting screw clockwise until air valve partially opens.
  2. Turn tension adjusting screw counterclockwise, until air valve just closes. Turn screw counterclockwise, specified additional turns. Tighten lock screw.
  3. Lubricate contact area of air valve shaft pin and closing spring with lithium base grease.
