Secondary Closing Linkage

  1. Engine idle speed must be correctly adjusted. Hold choke valve wide open and make sure fast idle cam follower is off fast idle cam steps.
  2. Make sure secondary closing lever is against tang. Measure specified clearance between secondary throttle link and slot in secondary throttle lever. Bend tang to obtain clearance of.020". See Fig 1.

    Make sure fast idle cam follower is off fast idle cam steps.
