Drive Axles: Description

Final drive assembly is mounted and splined directly to automatic transmission and consists of; pinion drive gear, ring gear and a planetary train. Complete unit performs in a manner similar to a conventional differential. Drive axle shafts assemblies are flexible units consisting of; axle shaft, inner and outer constant velocity joints and drive spindle. Inner constant velocity joints have flexibility and inward and outward movement capabilities. Outer joints are flexible only.
