Trailer Brake Control Switch: Removal

Vehicles equipped with a floor console

Remove the floor console. Refer to: Floor Console .
All vehicles
NOTE: 12 inch screen shown in illustration, 10 inch screen is similar.

Release the clips and remove the upper centerstack bezel. Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

Release the clips and remove the RH instrument center trim panel.
- On vehicles equipped with push button start disconnect the electrical connector. Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

Vehicles without a floor console
Remove the bolt.
Torque: 22 lb.in (2.5 Nm)

Release the clips and remove the instrument panel lower trim panel.

Release the clips and remove the LH lower center trim panel.

Remove the lower center trim panel.
- Remove the bolts.
  Torque: 22 lb.in (2.5 Nm)
- Release the clips.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.

- Remove the bolts.
  Torque: 22 lb.in (2.5 Nm)
- Release the clips.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.

Press the 4 tabs and remove the trailer brake control switch.
- Press the 4 tabs.
- Remove the trailer brake control switch.
