Liftgate Release Switch: Removal

  1. Remove the reversing lamp. Refer to: Reversing Lamp .
  2. Disconnect the liftgate release switch electrical connector.

  3. Remove the liftgate release switch.

    1. Press the retaining tabs on the liftgate release switch.
    2. Remove the liftgate release switch.
