Gear Shift Module (GSM): Removal

  1. Remove the driver knee air bag. Refer to: Driver Knee Airbag .
  2. Remove the floor console. Refer to: Floor Console .
  3. Remove the screw, release the clips and remove the lower center instrument panel trim panel. Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

  4. Release the clips and remove the GSM finish panel.

  5. Remove the screws and the GSM.

  6. Disconnect the GSM electrical connector.
