Rear Climate Control Housing: Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  2. NOTE: Only use the specified material to lubricate the seals.

    Install and lubricate new O-ring seals. Refer to the appropriate SPECIFICATIONS .

  3. Fill and bleed the cooling system. Refer to: Engine Cooling System Draining, Vacuum Filling and Bleeding 2.3L EcoBoost . Refer to: Engine Cooling System Draining, Vacuum Filling and Bleeding 3.0L EcoBoost . Refer to: Engine Cooling System Draining, Vacuum Filling and Bleeding 3.3L Duratec-V6
  4. Lubricate the refrigerant system with the correct amount of clean refrigerant oil. Refer to REFRIGERANT OIL ADDING - HYBRID ELECTRIC VEHICLE (HEV), VEHICLES WITH: R1234YF REFRIGERANT / REFRIGERANT OIL ADDING - HYBRID ELECTRIC VEHICLE (HEV), VEHICLES WITH: R134A REFRIGERANT / REFRIGERANT OIL ADDING - VEHICLES WITH: R1234YF REFRIGERANT / REFRIGERANT OIL ADDING - VEHICLES WITH: R134A REFRIGERANT .
