Erase and Replace Modules

Many modules on the vehicle need to be erased before new data can be installed. The software installation process can take some time to complete. Updates to these modules need to be scheduled and specific vehicle conditions must be met for the update to be initiated. An estimate of the time required for the update to complete is displayed on the vehicle display screen at the time the update starts and on the connected vehicle tab of PTS.
