Front Bumper: Disassembly

Remove the front bumper. Refer to: Front Bumper .
If equipped. Remove the inner front parking aid sensors.
1. Disconnect the inner front parking aid sensor electrical connectors and position the wiring harness aside.
2. Release the tabs.
3. Remove the inner front parking aid sensors.

Remove the screws, release the tabs and remove the front bumper grille.
Torque

: 19 lb.in (2.2 Nm)

On both sides. Remove the bolts, the push pin and the front wheel splash shield.
Torque

: 28 lb.in (3.2 Nm)

If equipped, on both sides. Remove the bolt and the front bumper deflector stop.
Torque

: 28 lb.in (3.2 Nm)

If equipped. Remove the bolts and the front bumper air deflector.
Torque

: 28 lb.in (3.2 Nm)

On both sides.
1. Remove the bolts and the outer bracket.
  Torque
  
  : 21 lb.ft (28 Nm)
2. If equipped. Release the retainer and position the wiring harness aside.

1. Mark the bolts head before removing the bolts. Install the bolts exactly in the same location as the previous marked location.
2. Remove the bolts and the front bumper bracket.
  Torque
  
  : 21 lb.ft (28 Nm)

If equipped.
1. Disconnect the CCM electrical connector.
2. Detach the wiring harness retainer from the CCM bracket.
3. Remove the bracket bolts and the CCM and bracket.

  : 106 lb.in (12 Nm)

NOTE: The location and number of electrical connectors and wiring harness retainers may vary based on vehicle application.

If equipped. Disconnect the front bumper wiring harness connectors, separate the wiring harness retainers and remove the harness. Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover

If equipped. Remove the outer front parking aid sensors.
1. Release the tabs.
2. Remove the outer front parking aid sensors.

On both sides. Remove the bolts and the front fog lamp assembly.
Torque

: 28 lb.in (3.2 Nm)

On both sides. Remove the push pin, the bolt, release the tabs and remove the front bumper side valence panel.
Torque

: 28 lb.in (3.2 Nm)
