Transfer Case Shift Lever: Removal

  1. Position the transfer case shift lever in neutral.

  2. Remove the transfer case shift lever knob.

  3. Remove the shift lever trim and boot.

    • Release the shift lever trim clips.

    • Remove the shift lever trim and boot.

  4. Remove the shift lever bolts.

    Torque: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)

  5. Remove the shift lever assembly.

    • Disconnect the transfer case shift cable.

    • Remove the shift lever assembly.
