Steering Gear Boot: Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE: Make sure that new components are installed.
1. NOTE: Always install a new steering gear boot when replacing the boot clamps to prevent water ingress and damage to the steering gear.
  
  NOTE: Make sure that the boot is correctly located.
2. Use Suggested Tool: 204-169 Clamping Tool, Boot Retaining Clamp. Tool shown or a commercially available equivalent can be used. Use the General Equipment: Boot Clamp Pliers
