Normal Operation and Fault Conditions
The ABS module monitors various inputs and compares the values to what should be expected. If the values received are out of range or not what should be expected, the ABS module sets a DTC.
PPT AM ABS MODULE DTC FAULT TRIGGER CONDITIONS
| DTC | Description | Fault Trigger Conditions |
|---|---|---|
| C0044:49 | Brake Pressure Sensor "A": Internal Electronic Failure | Sets when the ABS module detects an internal fault with the HCU. |
| C0044:51 | Brake Pressure Sensor "A": Not Programmed | Sets when the ABS module detects an internal fault. |
| C0044:64 | Brake Pressure Sensor "A": Signal Plausibility Failure | Sets when the ABS module detects a fault with the brake fluid pressure. |
| C0044:8F | Brake Pressure Sensor "A": Erratic | Sets when the ABS module detects an internal fault with the HCU. |
| C1A08:1C | Pressure Sensor Supply: Circuit Voltage Out of Range | Sets when the ABS module detects the brake system pressure sensor voltage supply is out of range. |

| DTC | Description | Fault Trigger Conditions |
|---|---|---|
| P05FF | Brake Pressure Sensor/Brake Pedal Position Sensor Correlation | This DTC sets if the information from the brake pressure sensor and brake pedal position sensor do not match. This is most likely due to sensor concerns, wiring harness concerns or vehicle communication concerns. |
