In-Vehicle Repair: Flexplate: Removal

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Jacking And Lifting .
  2. Remove the transaxle. For additional information, refer to Automatic Transaxle/Transmission - 6F35 .
  3. NOTE: Do not reuse the flexplate bolts.

    Install the Flywheel Holding Tool and remove the 6 bolts and the flexplate.

    • Discard the bolts.
