Removal And Installation

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Jacking And Lifting .
  2. Loosen the 4 retainers and remove the underbody shield.

  3. Detach the 2 wiring harness retainers from the valve cover stud bolts.

  4. Detach the CAC inlet pipe.

  5. Using a floor jack and a wooden block, support the engine.

  6. Remove the 4 nuts, the 3 bolts and the engine mount.

    • To install, tighten the bolts to 90 Nm (66 lb-ft) and the nuts to 125 Nm (92 lb-ft).

  7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
