Generic Function Module (GFM): Removal

  1. 1.

    Remove the glove compartment. REFER to: Glove Compartment .

  1. 2.

    Remove the screws and the RH instrument panel insulator.

    Torque

    : 22 lb.in (2.5 Nm)

  1. 3.

    Remove the lower GFM bracket screws.

    Torque

    : 80 lb.in (9 Nm)

  1. 4.

    Position the upper GFM bracket.

    1. 1.

      Remove the upper GFM bracket screw.

    1. 2.

      Lower the GFM and bracket.

    Remove the GFM.

    1. 1.

      Disconnect the GFM electrical connetor.

    1. 2.

      Remove the GFM bolts.
