BCM Network Input Messages

Broadcast Message	Originating Module	Message Purpose
Vehicle speed	ABS module	The BCM uses the vehicle speed data for autolock and auto-unlock features.
Driver door latch status	DDM	Provides the BCM with the lock/unlock status of the driver door latch. The lock/unlock status is used for the illumination of the door lock status indicators.
Driver rear door latch status	DDM	Provides the BCM with the lock/unlock status of the driver rear door latch. The lock/unlock status is used for the illumination of the door lock status indicators.
Passenger front door latch status	PDM	Provides the BCM with the lock/unlock status of the passenger front door latch. The lock/unlock status is used for the illumination of the door lock status indicators.
Passenger rear door latch status	PDM	Provides the BCM with the lock/unlock status of the passenger rear door latch. The lock/unlock status is used for the illumination of the door lock status indicators.
Passive key status	RFA module	Provides the BCM with the passive key data. The data contains information such as if a passive key has been detected, how many were detected, battery status and if it is a programmed key.
Passive central lock command	RFA module	Provides the BCM with passive entry request data. The BCM uses this data to lock or unlock the doors based on the passive entry request.
RKE data	RFA module	Provides the BCM with the RKE commands.

DDM Network Input Messages

Broadcast Message	Originating Module	Message Purpose
Central lock command	BCM	Provides the DDM with a command to lock or unlock the door. The DDM sends the lock or unlock command to the respective Rear Door Module (RDM).

PDM Network Input Messages

Broadcast Message	Originating Module	Message Purpose
Central lock command	BCM	Provides the PDM with a command to lock or unlock the door. The PDM sends the lock or unlock command to the respective Rear Door Module (RDM).

RFA Module Network Input Messages
