Fuel Rail: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

  Disconnect the spring lock coupling. Refer to: Spring Lock Couplings .
- Disconnect the wiring harness retainers from the fuel rail, disconnect the fuel injector electrical connectors and remove the fuel rail insulator.

Remove the nut and position the electrical connector aside.
Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)

Remove the fuel rail retaining bolts and remove the fuel rail.
Torque: 17 lb.ft (23 Nm)

Remove and discard the fuel injector O-ring seals and the fuel injector clips.
