Hood Alignment

1.

Open the hood.

2.

Loosen the LH and RH rear lower hinge-to-body bolt to the point that the hood will have slight movement.

3.

Loosen the LH and RH front lower hinge-to-body bolt to the point that the hood will have slight movement.

4.

Adjust the hood to align the hood to fender fit. For additional information, refer to Body Repairs .

5.

Carefully close the hood, maintaining the hood-to-fender fit and tighten the LH and RH rear lower hinge bolts.
- Tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).

6.

Carefully open the hood and tighten the LH and RH front lower hinge bolts.
- Tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).

7.

NOTE: The hood adjusting bumpers are located in the hood panel.

Adjust the hood bumper so the hood panel fits flush to the fenders.
