Cruise Control Module (CCM): Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1.

WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure, refer to Safety Warnings General Information. Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

Refer to: Health and Safety Precautions .

2.

Remove the front bumper cover. Refer to: Front Bumper Cover .

3.

Remove the active grille shutter. Refer to: Active Grille Shutter .

4.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Release the CCM grommets from the ball studs.
- Remove the CCM.

5.

Remove the CCM bracket bolts.
Torque: 20 lb.ft (27 Nm)

6.

Remove the CCM bracket.
1. 1.
  
  Remove the CCM bracket nut.
  Torque: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)
1. 2.
  
  Remove the CCM bracket bolt.
  Torque: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)
1. 3.
  
  Slide the CCM bracket out of the front bumper slot.
