| P05D0:24 | Driver Mode Select Switch "A" Circuit: Signal Stuck High | GO to Pinpoint Test E |
| U0001:88 | High Speed CAN Communications Bus: Bus Off | A HS-CAN fault was present at a point in time. The fault is not currently present since the module is communicating with the diagnostic scan tool. CLEAR the DTC. REPEAT the network test with the diagnostic scan tool. VERIFY the integrity of the connectors and wiring. Refer to Wiring Diagrams MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK for schematic and connector information. |
| U0100:00 | Lost Communication with ECM / PCM "A": No Sub Type Information | GO to Pinpoint Test F |
| U0140:00 | Lost Communication with Body Control Module: No Sub Type Information | GO to Pinpoint Test G |
| U1000:00 | Solid State Driver Protection Active - Driver Disabled: No Sub Type Information | This DTC indicates the GFM2 internal Field-Effect Transistor (FET) has reached 1 of 3 predefined levels of short circuit tolerance. The GFM2 has temporarily disabled one or more valve solenoid outputs due to an excessive current draw fault (such as a short to ground) exceeding the limits the GFM2 can tolerate. The GFM2 cannot enable the output until the cause of the short is corrected. ADDRESS all other GFM2 Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) first. After the cause of the concern is corrected, REPEAT the GFM2 self-test to clear the U1000:00 DTC. |
| U3000:49 | Control Module: Internal Electronic Failure | This DTC indicates the GFM2 internal Field-Effect Transistor (FET) has reached the end of life cycle. The GFM2 has permanently disabled one or more valve solenoid outputs due to an excessive current draw fault (such as a short to ground) exceeding the limits the GFM2 can tolerate. The cause of the excessive current draw MUST be corrected before a new GFM2 is installed. ADDRESS all other GFM2 Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) first. After the cause of the concern is corrected, INSTALL a new GFM2. REFER to: Generic Function Module 2 (GFM2) . |
| U3006:16 | Control Module Input Power "A" Circuit/Open: Circuit Voltage Below Threshold | GO to Pinpoint Test A |
| U3006:17 | Control Module Input Power "A" Circuit/Open: Circuit Voltage Above Threshold | GO to Pinpoint Test B |
