Stall Speed Test 

WARNING: Block all wheels, set the parking brake and firmly apply the service brake to reduce the risk of vehicle movement during this procedure. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious personal injury.
NOTE: Perform the Transmission Line Pressure Test prior to performing the Transmission Stall Speed Test. If the line pressure is low at stall, do not perform the Transmission Stall Speed Test or transmission damage will occur.

The Transmission Stall Speed Test checks:

Conduct this test with the engine coolant and transmission fluid at correct levels and at normal operating temperature.

Apply the park brake and firmly apply the brake pedal for each Transmission Stall Speed Test.Stall Speed Chart

1.5L Gasoline Turbocharged Direct Injection (GTDI) 2, 350-2, 650
2.0L Gasoline Turbocharged Direct Injection (GTDI) 2, 350-2, 650
2.5L Independent Variable Cam Timing (iVCT) 2, 350-2, 650
NOTE: If the recorded rpm exceeds the maximum limits, release the accelerator pedal immediately, clutch slippage is indicated.
NOTE: The stall speed is lower in REVERSE.
