Wiper Linkage Assembly: Removal

NOTE: Make sure that the motor is in the park position.

Remove the cowl panel grille. Refer to: Cowl Panel Grille .

  Remove the wiper linkage bolts.
  Torque: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)

  Disconnect the windshield wiper motor electrical connector.

  Remove the windshield wiper motor linkage assembly.

NOTE: This step is only necessary when installing a new component.

  Index-mark the wiper motor crank arm location to aid in wiper motor installation.
1. 2.
  
  Disconnect the wiper linkage from the wiper motor crank arm.
1. 3.
  
  Rotate the wiper motor crank arm to gain access to bolts.
1. 4.
  
  Remove the bolts and the wiper motor.
  Torque: 106 lb.in (12 Nm)
