Ignition Coil-On-Plug: Installation

Inspect the ignition coil-on-plugs and replace any ignition coil-on-plugs with any ignition coil-on-plug seal or rubber boot cracks, rips or tears.

Install the ignition coil-on-plugs and the ignition coil-on-plug mounting bolts. Tighten the ignition coil-on-plug mounting bolts.Torque:
Stage 1: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)
Stage 2: 50°
- 3.
Connect the ignition coil-on-plug electrical connector and connect the high-pressure fuel pump electrical connector.
- 4.NOTE: When removing or installing the high-pressure fuel pump noise insulator, spreading the openings will reduce the risk of damage.
Install the high-pressure fuel pump noise insulator. Install the high-pressure fuel pump noise insulator retainer.
