Network Message Chart

SOD-L Module Network Input Messages 

Broadcast Message Originating Module Message Purpose
Active park assist status PAM Used to disable CTA system during active park assist parking.
Cross traffic alert enable/disable command IPC Used to enable or disable the CTA system.
Day/night status BCM Used to determine day/night operation for correct system operation.
Ignition status BCM Used to enable the SOD-L and SOD-R.
Parklamp status BCM Used to determine day/night operation for correct system operation.
Right obstacle detection status SOD-R Used to communicate the SOD-R is blocked.
Selector lever (PRNDL) status PCM Used to enable the CTA system when the transmission selector is in reverse (R).
Side obstacle detection enable/disable command IPC Used to enable the SOD-L and SOD-R.
Wiper motor status BCM Used to determine rain conditions for correct system operation.

Audio chime request SOD-L /SOD-R Used to request the CTA chime.
Left side obstacle detection enable/disable status SOD-L Used to communicate the operation status of the SOD-L.
Right side obstacle detection enable/disable status SOD-R Used to communicate the operation status of the SOD-R.
