Powertrain Control Module (PCM): Removal

NOTE: Removal Steps In This Procedure May Contain Installation Details.

  1. 1.

    NOTE: This Step Is Only Necessary When Installing A New Component.

    Download The Module Information To The Diagnostic Tool Using The Programmable Modules Installation Routine. Use The General Equipment: Ford Diagnostic Equipment

  1. 2.

    Remove The Bolts And Nut.

    Torque: 89 Lb.In (10 Nm)

    Disconnect The PCM Electrical Connectors And Remove The PCM.
