DTC U045A: Invalid Data Received From Parking Assist Control Module A: Action
CARRY OUT a self-test of the PAM. If the diagnostic scan tool indicates the module is not responding, REFER to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK (EXCEPT ELECTRIC VEHICLE) to diagnose the network communication concern. If PAM DTCs are present, REFER to PARKING AID - VEHICLES WITH: REAR PARKING AID (EXCEPT ELECTRIC VEHICLE) , PARKING AID - VEHICLES WITH: PARKING AID CAMERA (EXCEPT ELECTRIC VEHICLE) or PARKING AID - VEHICLES WITH: ACTIVE PARK ASSIST (EXCEPT ELECTRIC VEHICLE) to diagnose the PAM system fault. If there are no DTCs in the PAM, SET the ignition to OFF.
DISCONNECT and INSPECT all PAM electrical connectors and related inline connectors for corrosion, bent pins, pushed-out pins and spread terminals. REPAIR as necessary.
