BCM Module Network Input Messages

Broadcast Message Originating Module Message Purpose
RKE data TPM module The TPM module sends RKE data to the BCM. The BCM uses this information to lock or unlock the doors, open the liftgate or to activate/deactivate the panic alarm.
Vehicle speed PCM The BCM uses the vehicle speed data for autolock/auto-unlock and to ignore requests to open the liftgate when the vehicle is in motion.
Door lock switch status DDM The BCM uses this information to lock or unlock all the doors.
