Selector Lever Cable Adjustment: Adjustment

All vehicles 

1. Apply the parking brake.

2. 1.5L 

3. Refer to: AIR CLEANER .

   All vehicles 

5. 1. Rotate the manual control lever clockwise until it stops.
   2. Rotate the manual control lever counterclockwise 1 detent.
6. 1. Move the slide to the left.
   2. While holding the slide, position the adjuster lock upward.

8. 1.5L 

9. Refer to: AIR CLEANER .

   All vehicles 

10. Release the parking brake.
11. Verify that the vehicle only starts in P  and N  and the reverse lamps illuminate in R  .
