Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the steering wheel rotation sensor. For additional information, refer to ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS) & STABILITY CONTROL .
  2. Disconnect the 3 Steering Column Control Module (SCCM) electrical connectors.
  3. Remove the 3 screws and the SCCM.
    • To install, tighten to 2 Nm (18 lb-in).
  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
