Main Control Cover: Removal

  1. Refer to: AIR CLEANER - 1.6L EcoBoost (132kW/180PS) - Sigma .

    Refer to: AIR CLEANER - 2.0L EcoBoost (177kW/240PS) - MI4 .

    Refer to: AIR CLEANER - 2.5L Duratec (125kW/170PS) .

  2. Refer to: JACKING AND LIFTING - OVERVIEW .

    Refer to: ENGINE FRONT UNDERSHIELD .

  3. NOTE: If an internal problem is suspected, drain the transmission fluid through a paper filter. A small amount of metal or friction particles may be found from normal wear. If an excessive amount of metal or friction material is present, the transmission will need to be overhauled.

    Torque  : 106 lb.in (12 Nm)
