Bearing Inspection: Inspection

    • Cratering - fatigue failure
    • Spot glazing - incorrect seating
    • Scratching - dirty engine oil
    • Base exposed - poor lubrication
    • Both edges worn - journal damaged
    • One edge worn - journal tapered or bearing not seated
