Main Control Valve Body: Removal

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
  2. Remove the main control cover. For additional information, refer to MAIN CONTROL COVER - 3.5L GTDI  or MAIN CONTROL COVER - 3.5L TI-VCT .
  3. Slide the TR sensor electrical connector lock tab over.

  5. NOTE: Handle the solenoid body with care or damage to the solenoid body may occur.
