Generator - 3.5L GTDI: Installation

Radial arm installation only

1. Tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).
2. Tighten to 17 Nm (150 lb-in).
Generator installation
- Tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).
- Tighten to 47 Nm (35 lb-ft).
- Tighten to 47 Nm (35 lb-ft).
- Tighten to 17 Nm (150 lb-in).
Install the accessory drive belt. Refer to ACCESSORY DRIVE .
Install the cooling fan motor and shroud. Refer to ENGINE COOLING .
Connect the battery cable. Refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
