Preliminary Inspection

Before diagnosing or repairing the starting system, inspect the following items:

• Check for abnormal ignition-off current drain(s).
• Battery
• Fusible links
• Inspect grounds G100 and G101 for loose or corroded connections
• High current BJB for loose or corroded connections
• Wiring, terminals or connectors
