Remote Function Actuator (RFA) Module

The RFA module is responsible for obtaining the IA key data and IA lock/unlock requests. It uses the IA antennas and the RFR module to receive the IA key data. The RFA module receives direct input from the RFR module (over a dedicated single circuit network), the IA antennas and the lock/unlock sensors.

The RFA module communicates the IA key and request data to the BCM over the MS-CAN.

If the RFA module is replaced, at least two keys must be programmed to it and a parameter reset performed with the BCM to enable PATS.
