Rear Wheel Speed Sensor: Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
  1. WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure, refer to HEALTH AND SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

  2. Refer to: JACKING AND LIFTING - OVERVIEW .
  3. NOTE: When servicing the wheel speed sensor, make sure the area around the wheel speed sensor and the wheel speed sensor housing are clean and free of debris or contamination may occur causing damage to wheel speed sensor or wheel bearing.

  7. NOTE: Make sure that the sensor housing and O-ring groove are clean and free of foreign material before installing the wheel speed sensor or contamination may occur causing damage to wheel speed sensor or wheel bearing.
