Driver Air Bag Module: Installation

  1. Connect the electrical connectors.
  2. Attach the driver air bag module to the steering wheel.
    • Push the driver air bag module firmly to engage the wire clips to the steering wheel attachment hooks.
  3. Install the upper and lower steering column shrouds. For additional information, refer to STEERING COLUMN .
  4. Repower the SRS. For additional information, refer to SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM (SRS) DEPOWERING AND REPOWERING  the General Procedures portion of this information.
