Removal And Installation

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING .
  2. Remove the transaxle. For additional information, refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE/TRANSMISSION - 6F50 .
  3. NOTE: One of the 8 flexplate holes are offset so the flexplate can only be installed in one position.
  4. Remove the bolts and the flexplate.
    • To install, tighten to 80 Nm (59 lb-ft).
  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
