Front Disc Brake: Removal

- 1.
Remove the wheel and tire. For additional information, REFER to Wheels and Tires .
- 2.NOTE: Do not allow the brake caliper to hang from the brake flexible hose or damage to the hose may occur.
Remove the bolts and position the brake caliper, brake pads and anchor plate aside. Discard the bolts.
- To install, tighten the new bolts to 165 Nm (122 lb-ft).
- 3.NOTE: If necessary, thread a M10 bolt into the brake disc removal hole and tighten to press the disc off the hub.
Remove the screw and the brake disc. Discard the screw.
- To install, tighten the new screw to 20 Nm (177 lb-in).
