Differential Case: Assembly

  1. General Equipment: Hydraulic Press

  5. NOTE: If a new pinion shaft bolt is unavailable, coat the threads with sealer.
    • Tighten to 30 Nm (22 lb-ft).

  6. NOTE: Loosely install 3 bolts to align the ring gear and carrier bolt holes.

    General Equipment: Hydraulic press

    • Tighten to 128 Nm (95 lb-ft).

  7. Install the differential carrier. Refer to DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER .
