Removal and Installation

NOTE: The cruise control switch is unique to the adaptive cruise control system. When installing a new cruise control switch, make sure the correct switch for adaptive cruise control is installed.

Remove the driver air bag module. For additional information, refer to SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM .
Disconnect the cruise control switch electrical connector.
Remove the steering wheel bezel box.
1. Remove the 4 screws.
2. Release the top 2 tabs.
3. Release the bottom 2 tabs.

NOTE: Lightly hand-tighten the screws. Do not use power tools. Failure to follow this instruction may result in damage to the bezel and/or the cruise control switch.

Remove the 4 screws and separate the steering wheel switch bezel from the steering wheel bezel box.
Remove the 2 screws and the cruise control switch.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Makes sure the bezels are aligned correctly with the steering wheel.
