Selector Lever Knob: Installation

  1. Route the TCS wiring through the selector knob shroud and selector lever.
    1. Position the TCS wire towards the back right corner of the selector knob shroud.
    2. Route the TCS wire through the selector lever opening.

  2. NOTE: Keep the TCS wire taught while installing the selector lever knob.

  3. Install the selector lever knob.
  4. NOTE: Tightening the transmission selector lever knob screws over 2 Nm (18 lb-in) may damage the selector lever assembly.
  5. Align the transmission selector lever knob base screw hole with the selector shaft and install the selector lever knob screws.
    • Tighten to 2 Nm (18 lb-in).

  6. Slide the selector lever knob shroud up and snap into position.

  7. NOTE: Make sure the TCS wire is pulled taught prior to connecting the TCS.

  8. Connect the Transmission Control Switch (TCS) electrical connector.
  9. Install the selector lever. For additional information, refer to SELECTOR LEVER .
