Climate Control Housing: Installation

    To install, reverse the removal procedure.

    NOTE: Only use the specified material to lubricate the seals.

    Install new O-ring seals.

    Material

    : Motorcraft ® PAG Refrigerant Compressor Oil / YN-12-D (WSH-M1C231-B)

  1. 3.

    Lubricate the refrigerant system with the correct amount of clean PAG oil. Refer to: Refrigerant Oil Adding .

  1. 4.

    Fill and bleed the cooling system. Refer to filling and bleeding without a vacuum cooling system filler. 2.7L EcoBoost Refer to: COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING AND VACUUM FILLING . 3.5L Duratec Refer to: COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING AND VACUUM FILLING . 3.5L EcoBoost Refer to: COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING AND VACUUM FILLING . 5.0L 32V Ti-VCT Refer to: COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING AND VACUUM FILLING .
