Exhaust Intermediate Pipe: Installation

  1. Position a new ball clamp on the muffler assembly.
  2. Position the intermediate pipe in the vehicle.
  3. NOTE: Similar catalytic converter or exhaust H-pipe shown in illustration.
    NOTE: Make sure that the catalytic converter or exhaust H-pipe is inserted into the couplers correctly.
  4. Slide the Torca® coupler over catalyst pipe or exhaust H-pipe and engage the coupler clip completely over the converter or H-pipe button.
    • Tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).

  5. Tighten the new intermediate pipe-to-muffler inlet ball clamp.
    • Tighten to 30 Nm (22 lb-ft).
