Driver Door Module (DDM)

For the power mirror function, the DDM  receives mirror movement requests through the LIN  circuit from the master window control switch. The DDM  then provides voltage and ground to the appropriate LH  exterior mirror motor to drive the mirror glass in the desired direction.

When the master window control switch requests RH  exterior mirror functions, the DDM  sends the requests to the PDM  through the Medium Speed Controller Area Network (MS-CAN).

For the heated mirror function, the DDM  supplies voltage to the LH  exterior mirror glass heating element based on messages received the BCM  .
