DTC Chart: All Terrain Control Module (ATCM)

Diagnostics in this information assume a certain skill level and knowledge of Ford-specific diagnostic practices. REFER to ENGINE CONTROLS - DIAGNOSTIC METHODS (EXCEPT DIESEL & HYBRID) for information regarding Ford-specific diagnostic practices.

NOTE: Network DTCs  (U-codes) are often a result of intermittent concerns such as damaged wiring or low battery voltage occurrences. Lost Communication DTCs  set in a module that is reporting a communication fault from another module on the data bus. The module that reports the fault is not the problem module.

B11D9:16 Vehicle Battery: Circuit Voltage Below Threshold REFER to Diagnostic Routine F : B11D9:16
B11D9:17 Vehicle Battery: Circuit Voltage Above Threshold REFER to Diagnostic Routine F : B11D9:17
B13FC:67 Brake Manager (ABS) All Terrain System State: Signal Incorrect After Event This DTC sets when the ABS module is not following the mode request from the ATCM.
RETRIEVE and REPAIR all non-network DTCs  in the ABS module. REFER to DTC CHART: ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS) MODULE for diagnosis of all DTCs  .
B1402:67 Torque Manager (ECM/PCM) All Terrain System State: Signal Incorrect After Event This DTC sets when the PCM is not following the mode request from the ATCM.
RETRIEVE and REPAIR all non-network DTCs  in the PCM. REFER to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) CHARTS AND DESCRIPTIONS forr diagnosis of all DTCs  .
B1403:67 Ratio Manager (PCM/TCM) All Terrain System State: Signal Incorrect After Event This DTC sets when the PCM is not following the mode request from the ATCM.
RETRIEVE and REPAIR all non-network DTCs  in the PCM. REFER to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) CHARTS AND DESCRIPTIONS forr diagnosis of all DTCs  .
B142F:67 Wheel Change Manager (TCCM/PCM/ECM) All Terrain System State: Signal Incorrect After Event This DTC sets when the PCM is not following the mode request from the ATCM.
RETRIEVE and REPAIR all non-network DTCs  in the PCM. REFER to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) CHARTS AND DESCRIPTIONS for diagnosis of all DTCs  .
U0100:00 Lost Communication With ECM/PCM "A": No Sub Type Information REFER to Diagnostic Routine G: U0100:00 .
U0121:00 Lost Communication With Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Control Module: No Sub Type Information REFER to Diagnostic Routine K: U0121:00 .
U0140:00 Lost Communication With Body Control Module: No Sub Type Information REFER to Diagnostic Routine J: U0140:00 .
U0401:00 Invalid Data Received from ECM/PCM A: No Sub Type Information This DTC sets when the ATCM receives invalid data from the PCM.
RETRIEVE and REPAIR all non-network DTCs  in the PCM and other modules on the network. REFER to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) CHARTS AND DESCRIPTIONS for diagnosis of all DTCs  .
U0415:00 Invalid Data Received From Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Control Module: No Sub Type Information This DTC sets when the ATCM receives invalid data from the ABS.
RETRIEVE and REPAIR all non-network DTCs  in the ABS and other modules on the network. REFER to DTC CHART: ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS) MODULE for diagnosis of all DTCs  .
U0422:00 Invalid Data Received From Body Control Module: No Sub Type Information This DTC sets when the ATCM receives invalid data from the BCM.
RETRIEVE and REPAIR all non-network DTCs  in the BCM and other modules on the network. REFER to DTC CHART: BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) for diagnosis of all DTCs  .
U3000:49 Control Module: Internal Electronic Failure This DTC sets when the ATCM switch is between detents. ROTATE the knob to the next detent, CYCLE the ignition RUN/OFF/RUN. ROTATE through all 4 Terrain Modes, staying in each mode for at least 1 minute. CLEAR DTCs  and CARRY OUT ATCM Self-Test. If DTC U3000:49 returns, INSTALL a new ATCM. REFER to All Terrain Control Module (ATCM) .
