Removal and Installation
- Remove the wheel and tire. For additional information, refer to WHEELS AND TIRES .
- Disconnect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector.
- Remove the wheel speed sensor harness bolt and detach the retainers.
- To install, tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).
- Remove the 2 caliper anchor bolts and position the caliper, pads and anchor plate aside.
- Support the caliper with mechanic's wire.
- To install, tighten to 250 Nm (184 lb-ft).
- Remove the brake disc.
- Remove the front wheel speed sensor bolt and the sensor.
- To install, tighten to 18 Nm (159 lb-in).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE:
Do not allow the caliper to hang from the brake hose or damage to the hose can result.
