Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the wheel and tire. For additional information, refer to WHEELS AND TIRES .
  2. Disconnect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector.
  3. Remove the wheel speed sensor harness bolt and detach the retainers.
    • To install, tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).
  4. NOTE: Do not allow the caliper to hang from the brake hose or damage to the hose can result.
  5. Remove the 2 caliper anchor bolts and position the caliper, pads and anchor plate aside.
    • Support the caliper with mechanic's wire.
    • To install, tighten to 250 Nm (184 lb-ft).
  6. Remove the brake disc.
  7. Remove the front wheel speed sensor bolt and the sensor.
    • To install, tighten to 18 Nm (159 lb-in).
  8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
