Removal and Installation

- Upload the PAM configuration information to the scan tool. For additional information, refer to Programmable Module Installation (PMI) in MODULE CONFIGURATION .
- If replacing the Parking Aid Module (PAM), proceed as follows:
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.
- Remove the PAM push-pins.
- Remove the PAM.
- If replacing the parking aid speaker only, proceed as follows:
- Disconnect the parking aid speaker electrical connector.
- Disengage the parking aid speaker clips.
- Remove the parking aid speaker.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Download the PAM configuration information. For additional information, refer to MODULE CONFIGURATION .
NOTE:
Module configuration is only required if a new Parking Aid Module (PAM) is being installed.
