Steering Angle Sensor Module (SASM): Removal

  1. Remove the clockspring. For additional information, refer to SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM article.
  2. Disconnect the Steering Angle Sensor Module (SASM) electrical connector.
  3. Release the locking tabs and remove the SASM  from the clockspring.
