Removal and Installation

- Upload the SDARS module configuration information to the scan tool. For additional information, refer to Programmable Module Installation (PMI) in MODULE CONFIGURATION .
- Lower the glove compartment completely.
- Disconnect the satellite antenna cable and the SDARS module electrical connector.
- Remove the 3 nuts.
- To install, tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).
- Remove the 3 J-studs and the SDARS module.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Download the SDARS module configuration information to the scan tool. For additional information, refer to PMI in MODULE CONFIGURATION .
NOTE:
Module configuration is required when a new Satellite Digital Audio Receiver System (SDARS) module is being installed.
